Sustainibility Days 2016

The Members of the Chair of Environmental Management and the Student Groups FRESH, GlobalCampus, Greening and the Oecumenic group of Hohenheim cooked together with residents of the local refugee camp for more than 450 people. Chefs de Cuisine of the Michelin-Star awarded Restaurant of Speisemeisterei Hohenheim conducted the cooking process to provide everybody with an extraordinary culinaric experience.
As desert, there was be fairtrade coffe and sweets, provided by the „Fair-o-mat“ and the Oecumenic students group.

The meal have been cooked out of vegetables which are „too ugly“ to sell, but tasted awesome. Therefore, food was for free.

All in all it was a big event against food waste and sustainibility.
