Dies Academicus 2024
During the Dies Academicus at Universität Hohenheim, FRESH proudly showcased our dedication to sustainable food and agriculture. The event, aimed at bringing together various university organizations to highlight the vibrant community and academic opportunities, was the perfect platform for us to engage with students and visitors.
For the event, we prepared baked potatoes in our wood-fired oven, a highlight of our campus activities. The potatoes were served with a selection of freshly made dips, all using ingredients harvested from our very own organic garden. This not only demonstrated the possibilities of sustainable and local food production but also offered a delicious, hands-on example of our philosophy in action.
Our stand was bustling with students and visitors curious about our projects and eager to taste the fruits (and vegetables!) of our labor. It was a fantastic opportunity to share our passion for sustainable agriculture and connect with like-minded individuals interested in the future of food.
